Franschhoek Estate
Working on this project was a creative journey with our clients who have a taste for contemporary design and quality finishes. Producing a home that spoke to their modern taste within the restriction of the estate and its contemporary cape aesthetic language was a challenge but one we relished. A giant natural rock became the focus of an axis design that stretches through the home from the street to the pool and the views beyond. Passing a courtyard that creates a secluded oasis in the heart of the house. The interior is simple and open with ample light streaming in. This provides a quite backdrop for the client’s selection of rich art and furniture giving the home an almost eclectic feel without being cluttered in the least.
